What was she thinking

Over the weekend Hilton Hotel heiress and celebrity Paris Hilton was arrested in Nevada for possession of cocaine.  This is the third time since 2006 that the celebrity was arrested, the first in 2006 for driving drunk, again in 2007 for diving without a license and now in 2010.  According to Paris the purse from which the cocaine fell was not hers and she didn't know it was there.   Funny, but that's the same excuse she used earlier.

Dan Abrams weighed in  on how much time Paris might serve if found guilty and whether or not celebrities are treated differently when it comes to these types of arrests.  According to Dan depending on how much cocaine was "in her possession" Paris could face anywhere from probation to a much stiffer sentence.  He also added that the court may not want to come off as looking coming down too easy on Paris.

Bonnie Fuller of Hollywoodlife.com mentions something very interesting, she thought it could be Paris' cry for attention or a way to jump start her career.

UPDATE
According to Gossip Cop Paris has been charged with a felony and could face possible prison time. Read the report here: Gossip Cop

Santa Strangler

First, the title of this installment of Chasing Justice with Dan Abrams may turn you off, but it is a very interesting story and has nothing to do with the Jolly Old Elf.  Adolph Laudenberg confessed to two of his daughters in law that he had murdered 3, possibly  more women, but it took many years before he was brought to justice.

Chasing Justice with Dan Abrams presents this true crime story tonight at 8:30 P.M. on ID Discovery.  For those of you who do not have access to the channel here is a link to the original Dateline story:

And for a local article on the story check out the San Francisco Chronicle:

Accident?

This week's episode of Chasing Justice with Dan Abrams relates the bizarre circumstances surrounding the death of Anna Creamer in 2008.  Anna's husband Robert claims that the incident was an accident, or was it.  Watch tonight's episode on Discovery ID at 8:30 P.M. and to find out more check out the link below to the Dateline episode:

And as a follow up to last week's Chasing Justice about the murder of US Attorney Tom Wales I ran across a very interesting article written for the New Yorker by Jeffrey Toobin of CNN.  While the article is from 2007 I found it to be a very interesting read and I hope you will, too.
